Ultraviolet-C Sterilization Chamber

The UVSee One is an innovative desktop Ultraviolet-C sterilization chamber for the sterilization of small tools and instruments against microorganisms including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Targeting dental instrument sterilization, the UVSee One provides fast, easy and low-cost sterilization compared with other existing solutions. The sterilization cycle time is much shorter than an autoclave cycle, and there is no cool down period.
Koven worked with UVSee to refine their Design Input Specification, source component suppliers and produce ALPHA prototypes. The prototypes were used by UVSee for verification testing to support their FDA pre-submission meeting.
Koven then delivered Industrial Design refinements to address DFMA issues discovered during the ALPHA prototype build. A forecast of the manufacturing costs of the device was also provided.
Finally, Koven worked closely with UVSee to develop and implement their Quality Management System and organized their design dossier.
